Spain is already on the verge of recognizing the right to euthanasia
It seems like this time. At the third attempt in recent years and after more than two decades of social and political debate, euthanasia faces one of its decisive days. Congress celebrates this Thursday an extraordinary plenary session to vote on the law that will regulate the aid to die and that will have broad support, only with the vote against PP and Vox. It is late for many people who, faced with suffering that they considered unbearable, demanded the right to end their lives without success. Some made their cases public to promote this legal framework, which in the first months of 2021 will make Spain one of the few countries in the world to allow euthanasia.
