Some 56 people are in the ICU because of Covid-19 in the Canary Islands
Canarias has registered 622 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so that the accumulated total in the archipelago rises to 70,614, while the deceased rise to 804 by adding two deaths in Tenerife on the last day, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Government.
Thus of the total of cases, 8,756 are active (+190), of which 56 are admitted to ICU (+3), 319 remain hospitalized Y 8,381 are at their homes (+187). For its part, Lanzarote it adds 13 positives, with 5,946 accumulated, of which 163 are active (+9), while it has registered 49 deaths and 5,734 overcame the disease; Fuerteventura It has 3,102 accumulated cases (+6), of which 383 are active (+5), 13 died and 2,706 received medical discharge; Y La Palma It adds 13 new cases, for which it has 813 accumulated, of which 152 are active (-3), seven have died and 654 have received medical discharge.
Finally, El Hierro it remains at the accumulated of 408 by not adding new cases, of which 10 are active (-5), four have died and 394 have overcome the disease; while La Gomera adds 12 new positives, so it accumulates 297 cases, of which 36 are active, one has died and 260 have received medical discharge.
