The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) foresees that the rains and the cloud skies continue in the Canary Islands. The precipitations will be locally strong and with storm, and where there will also be probable calima in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
During the day of this Monday, in which the Aemet decreed a yellow warning for rains in Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro, the precipitations are being moderated. The highlight of the day was the snow that has left a white blanket in El Teide. The most benefited island, at the moment, has been La Gomera with 20 mm.
Throughout the day the storm, will be displacing the eastern province and will leave, as of noon, more rains, especially on the east coasts of Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
The Aemet has informed that a total of about 323 rays have been detected in the vicinity of the archipelago during the last four hours.
