The Gran Canaria band Solo Astra will release his new album in April 2019, with the label Subterfuge Records, and publishes Cold Hot Dog, his first advance. A surprising soul ballad with psychedelic overtones and in which you can see that that lo-fi pop is still present that is in tune with artists like Jakob Ogawa, Homeshake or Mild High Club.
Canaries commented a few months ago that current trends were overlapping and that pop and urban music were beginning to flirt. Shortly after those words we were surprised creating Cupid, the union with the ragpicker Pimp Flaco. Solo Astra, in continuous experimentation, they are the standard-bearers of bringing to Spain a new sound that can already be discovered on their new single.
On February 21, Solo Astra will be in concert at the Madrid Design Festival, which is held at the Conde Duque Cultural Center (Conde Duque Street, 11), where the public will be able to hear live the north sound of the Gran Canaria band in 2019.
