Social Security achieved 19 million jobs in March, a record since 2008



The average Social Security affiliation in March marked the best data of the last eleven years, with an occupation of 19,043,576, after increasing by 155,104 workers with respect to February (0.82% more).

As explained on Tuesday by the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, this figure was not reached since August 2008, when there were 19,137,556 employed, so it is the best affiliation data in more than a decade.

With respect to March of last year, the average enrollment increased by 541,489 employees, which represents an increase of 2.93%.

In addition, from the Ministry have qualified that the figures correspond to the month prior to the holiday period of Holy Week, which this year is framed in April, while the past coincided with the last week of March.
