The snow fallen in recent days by the adverse storm “Gloria” makes difficult on Thursday traffic on 167 roads, of which 24 are cut to the circulation of vehicles and in 69 chains are needed, according to the latest data from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT).
The worst for traffic persists in Catalonia, not only because of the snow but also because of the rains, with 77 roads affected, 7 of which are mostly cut off by floods and water rafts.
In Barcelona, the national 2 is cut at the height of Canet de Mar, and also in Girona the C-32 in Massanes, the C-31 in Ullà, the C-35 in Hostalric, and in Balaguer the C-12 in the province from Lleida.
From the main network, three roads are conditioned by snow, of which the A-23, in Huesca, is closed to trucks as it passes through Nueno, and caution is recommended on the same road in Teruel as it passes through Albentosa.
In Ávila, caution is also advised in that capital on the AV-20 and the A-50, and eight mountain ports are still affected, of which Lunada in Cantabria is cut off to traffic, and in two chains are needed: in León, in Fonte da Cova, and in Castellón, in Vistabella.
