The latest version of the operating system from Manzana, iOS 14.5, will remove female voice from Siri assistant by default and it will allow the user to choose a male voice when setting up the wizard.

The beta version of iOS 14.5, which will be released widely in late spring, includes Siri news, which will allow the user establish from the first moment what type of voice – male or female – you want.

In this way, Apple removes the female voice by default, a change that is part of the Apple’s commitment to “diversity and inclusion”, as explained in a statement to TechCrunch.

Along with this change, Apple has also introduced two new voices, which will be available in English.

With iOS 14.5, family device users iPhone 11 may recalibrate the battery to fix download and performance issues.
