Google and Amazon launched their speakers before Apple but not their voice aids. Siri was in our iPhones, but it took longer to learn, to grow as to be the central interface of a device. The reason? Apple and its obsession with privacy. While your competitors collect and explore data, Siri does not have access to customer data to learn from them.

Both have a screen version in which they add video content, as well as a graphic menu. They know that learning to cook, guiding step by step, can be one of their strengths. Something that Apple does not contemplate for now.

If you have Apple TV you can become the TV speaker. Also in the center of control of intelligent shutters or lights in a home automation compatible with the application Home, Apple, launched two years ago. If you are not part of this golden cage, it is difficult to feel comfortable.

With two units you get a better user experience than with just one. But the pocket will notice. The HomePod is a product for the faithful of the brand of the apple that already use Apple Music and want to integrate at home an extension of the Apple universe.
