Silvia Pérez Cruz has one of the voices with the greatest capacity to convey feelings in our musical scene. Impossible not to get excited when listening to it, the artist has decided to go one step further with her new album, Farce (Universal), a work in which he brings together other disciplines such as dance or poetry to connect, even more, with emotions.
“With this album I have done the exercise of talking about evictions looking at the face”
The winner of a Goya for the best original song for the film Cerca de tu casa in 2017, explains that the title of Farce It came from a reflection he had at the time he recorded them: Why is what we show so different from what we are? Silvia Pérez Cruz also faces the challenge of presenting Farce on stage combining various formats with the idea of adding artists from other disciplines such as painting or dance to his band.
This Monday at 5:00 p.m. the singer will chat with Ignacio Escolar from house to house and in addition to telling us about the creative process of this album, on which she has been working for more than three years, we will talk with her about how she sees the current situation and the future of music, one of the groups hardest hit by this health crisis.
You can leave your question for her in the comments of this news or in the form that you will find at the end of it. The meeting can be followed live on eldiario.es, through Facebook Live and in Twitter, with Periscope. We will wait for you!
