This is how the humorist explained yesterday Silvia Abril the objective of the 33rd edition of the Goya Awards: "Try to turn that infinite delivery of prizes, which never ends, into something mined of pieces in our line". That is, full of humor. With the script prepared at 90%, and made by "the home team" of El Terrat, the producer of Andreu Buenafuente, both presenters define it as very familiar and full of surprises.
Although they have not wanted to reveal much of what is going to be seen at the gala on February 2, they have assured that they will look for the variation, the surprise and the "maximum of records". I could a priori It seems that Andreu Buenafuente, presenter of the program Late Motiv, would be in charge of conducting the ceremony, while Silvia Abril, her partner in all senses, would face the most comical part, but have made it clear that the gala will be distributed in a balanced way. But, why come back? "We owe this to Yvonne Blake," explains Abril. The president of the Film Academy, who died in July of last year due to a stroke, contacted the comedian for the 2018 gala. "I wanted a woman", but April was in the middle of filming. "So I explained that I could not, but I promised that we would be there the next year." And they have kept their word. A challenge from which the humorous couple of the past year, Joaquín Reyes and Ernesto Sevilla, did not succeed. The solution? "A lot of petroleum jelly," laughs April.
