The Jazz Corner of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium receives this Friday the New York singer-songwriter, in what is the third concert of this year's edition.
In March, a month in which women take a special role in the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, the protagonist is, precisely, Shayna Steele, a singer known for her vocal quality. In this concert he is accompanied by his usual band formed by Vit Kristan (keyboards), Ross Pederson (drums), Brian Cockerham (bass) and Errol Cooney (guitar).
Shayna is a Broadway vocalist Inspirational Voices, nominated for Grammy. It was the release of the first album, I'll Be Anything, composed with Cook, which put Shayna on the map as a legitimate soloist. For his second album Rise (Ropeadope Records, 2015), he counted on masterly collaborations of great musicians such as Christian McBride, Gregoire Maret, Eric Harland, Marcus Miller, Sachal Vasandani and Bashiri Johnson.
