Shanghai Fashion Week will make a virtual parade after being canceled by the coronavirus

Shanghai Fashion Week will hold a virtual parade on March 30 next to the e-commerce platform Tmall - a subsidiary of the Alibaba group - after having had to cancel all its physical events due to the coronavirus crisis.
In a statement published last night in its official WeChat account - the most popular social network in China -, the Organizing Committee of the Shanghai Fashion Week showed its confidence in being able to "present an innovative fashion event" for both members of the guild as for anyone who is interested.
"With the rapid development of technology, industrial innovation shows new possibilities. Shanghai Fashion Week has always considered the industry's explorers and pioneers as its own responsibility," says the document.
The Committee did not want to give more details of what the event will be like, of which it only explained: "We will go to the 'cloud' to meet you with a new image".
In addition, the Organizing Committee revealed Thursday that it will not attempt to organize the Week this season.
Last day 10, the organization of the event announced that it would suspend until further notice its celebration due to the epidemic of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
