Sevilla FCTOMonchi himself dedicated a few words to him on his social networks
Andrs Palop has been another one of the thousands of Spaniards who have had to face the covid-19. After twelve days hospitalized, the former goalkeeper of clubs such as Villarreal, Valencia or Seville, wanted to share his experience and confirm that he was already in better health and was returning to his home. Just yesterday was the International Day of the Goalkeeper and from the club where he achieved his greatest successes, Sevilla, messages were sent to him about his love and prompt recovery.
Another goalkeeper who has already retired and who was also intentional about Sevilla as Monchi (although more for his work in the offices) used his social networks to send his support to Palop, referring to the penalty shootout of the 2007 UEFA Cup in front of the Espanyol in Glasgow, where the Valencian goalkeeper was again a basic piece in a Seville victory.
I don’t want to finish the#InternationalDay Of The Goalkeeperwithout remembering a great man who gave us so much and who in recent days has had to face, as in Glasgow, a series of vital penalties, and as all, he has been the winner. The club itself also used its social networks to send Palop the maximum love after these hard days that he has had to endure in the face of the coronavirus. “You took us forward in Glasgow, Donetsk and a long etcetera, how could you not overcome this rival, Andrs? A big hug. Much encouragement and strength to all the people infected by # COVID19”.
