Seven communities are still on alert for storms and wind in the extreme east

The cold drop that extends along the eastern end with storms and rains of up to 100 liters per square meter and very strong winds will keep this Wednesday under orange warning to Catalonia, the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands, and in yellow level to four other communities in the eastern peninsular .

The Balearic Islands are under orange warning for significant meteorological risk due to the forecast of gusts of up to 100 kilometers per hour in areas such as Mallorca, in addition to storms and accumulated rainfall on the islands of up to 100 liters per square meter and waves of between three and four meters.

Also in Catalonia rains can accumulate up to 100 liters per square meter in twelve hours on the coast this Wednesday and in addition the wind gusts will blow at speeds of up to 80 square kilometers and will cause waves of up to four meters.

In the Valencian Community, the three provinces are under orange alert before the forecast of accumulated rains of up to 100 liters per square meter in twelve hours and wind gusts of up to 90 kilometers per hour in addition to waves of up to 4 meters in the coast.

On the other hand, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Navarra and Murcia are also under warning for rain, wind and coastal phenomena although with a yellow risk level, so slightly lower than the previous one.
