The Paris Saint-Germain Y Sergio Ramos They have reached an agreement for the signing of the Spanish international, according to the newspaper L’Equipe, although the duration of the contract is still unknown.

The agreement is subject to the result of a medical review that could be done this Tuesday, the French sports daily reported online.

Ramos, 35, had several injury problems in recent months that prevented him from playing for Real Madrid in the final stretch of the league and be summoned with the Spanish team for the current European Championship.

Duration of the contract (Ramos asked for two seasons and the Parisian club offered one with an option to another) had become one of the stumbling blocks to closing the deal, which was reported last week to be well advanced after a trip to the French capital by René Ramos (the player’s brother and representative).

The newspaper points out that, with the Spanish central defender, PSG gets a very experienced defense and guarantees to add to the current pair of holders in that position: the Brazilian Marquinhos and french Kimpembe.

The arrival of Ramos would therefore mean the departure of one of the other two centers less used by the club, the Senegalese Abdou Diallo or the German Thilo Kehrer.
