Within the framework of the important expansion plan that has been developing in recent years, Sercotel Hotel Group, the chain dedicated to hotel operations and international branding, has today inaugurated the
Sercotel Park Hotelhis first hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

With this establishment, which is integrated into the group under an operating regime, Sercotel adds three hotels in the Canary Islands: the three-star Sercotel Príncipe Paz Hotel, located in Tenerife, and another project under construction, also in Las Palmas, four star and located
on the seafront on Las Canteras beach, which is expected to finish the works at the end of this year. Currently, Sercotel has 182 rooms on the Islands and will reach 305 when the works on the third hotel are completed.

During the opening ceremony, held today at the hotel, José Rodríguez Pousa, CEO of the Sercotel Hotel Group, explained the hotel company's commitment to the Canary Islands as a strategic destination in its expansion plan: "With the opening of this establishment we land in a region like Gran Canaria, where we did not yet have a presence and, at the same time, allows us to add a new destination to our hotel portfolio. The company thus gives new impetus to our ambitious expansion plan, which is part of the new stage that began in 2020 as a result of the shareholder change, and
strengthens the presence in the Islandsone of the main tourist destinations in the country.

The opening ceremony was attended by Yaiza Castilla, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, and Antonio Morales, President of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, among other authorities, who expressed their satisfaction with the commitment of
Sercotel Hotel Group in the Canary Islands and the positive impact this will have on the local economy.

The company's first hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

The Sercotel Parque Hotel is located in the
Las Palmas Pier Street, 2, in front of the San Telmo park and a few meters from the Triana Open Commercial Zone, the Island Council of Gran Canaria and the Cuyás theatre. It is a hotel
three stars which has 102 comfortable, spacious and bright rooms.

The establishment was designed and built by the emblematic architect,
Miguel Martin Fernandez de la Torre, one of the greatest exponents of architectural rationalism in the Canary Islands. Its façade, very emblematic in the city, was included in the Environmental Protection Catalog of Architectural Heritage by the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council.
