Canadian Tom Rahshaw in Finn and Paul Kohlhoof and Alicia Stuhlemmer from Germany rule Nacra 17
“Lanzarote Olympic Winter Regatta” continued today with the start of the second phase in which the Finn and Nacra 17 classes compete in the waters of Playa Blanca. After two regattas in the Finn class, Canadian Tom Rahshaw leads the classification, in Nacra 17 it is Paul Kohlhoff and Alicia Stuhlemmer from Germany.
The first Spanish crews in the classification are Juan Cardona in the Finn class in second place, Tara Pacheco from Gran Canaria and Álvaro del Arco in Nacra17 are fourth after finishing today with two fifths and one fourth place.
23 boats are participating in the Finn class, while in Nacra 17 do 11.
Tomorrow, Friday 22, the second day will be held in both classes based at the Puerto Deportivo Marina Rubicón in Playa Blanca.
“Lanzarote Olympic Winter Regatta” is organized by the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife and Marina Rubicón with the collaboration of the Canarian Sailing Federation. A total of 233 professional Olympic and pre-Olympic sailors from 34 countries around the world participate.
