Netflix announced today through a video broadcast on its social networks the start of filming The House of Paper part 3, which will be released on the global platform in 2019. In the video, accompanied by the song Bella Ciao, the interpreters of the original series are prepared to read the script of the third part. New cast members have also been announced, such as Hovik Keuchkerian (Bogotá), Najwa Nimri (Alicia), Fernando Cayo (Tamayo) and Rodrigo de la Serna (El Ingeniero). Part of the team is already traveling this weekend to Thailand for the start of filming, as EL PAÍS has learned.
The cast that returns to the series includes Úrsula Corberó (Tokyo), Álvaro Morte (The Professor), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Miguel Herrán (River), Darko Peric (Helsinki), Alba Flores (Nairobi), Esther Acebo (Stockholm) ), Itziar Ituño (Raquel Murillo), Enrique Arce (Arturo) Kiti Mánver (Mariví) Juan Fernández (Coronel Prieto) & Mario de la Rosa (Suárez) who appear in the video together with the creator Álex Pina and the director Jesús Colmenar. One of the big surprises of the video is the appearance of Pedro Alonso (Berlin), who died at the end of the robbery in part 2.
Najwa Nimri, protagonist of the series Vis a vis as well as the recent movie Who will sing to you Carlos Vermut, is one of the most striking signing in this new installment. The actor nominated to the GOYA, BAFTA and Golden Globes Rodrigo de la Serna (Motorcycle diaries, Call me Francisco, One Hundred Years of Forgiveness, El Lobista) is also among the new interpreters that will join The House of Paper. The phrase with which Netflix has announced the beginning of the filming is the following: "The band has returned, this time it will be more than a robbery and when new members join, the risk will be even greater".
The Paper House became the most popular non-English-speaking series to be released on Netflix, part 1 and 2 worldwide in 2018. The series is produced by Vancouver Media. In addition, Netflix recently announced an exclusive agreement with its creator Álex Pina.
