Season 3 of 'Stranger Things' already has a release date | TV

Taking advantage of the celebrations of the new year, Netflix has announced the return date of one of its most popular series. Stranger Things will return with its third season on July 4, as announced by the video platform in streaming in social networks and with a statement.

Many details about the plot of the next episodes of the series created by the Duffer brothers and whose action takes place in the eighties are not yet known. The action of the third season will take place in the summer of 1985 and the adventure of the group of friends will continue. In the video with which the company announced the return date of the series, it included the following enigmatic message: "A summer can change everything".

The announcement has also come with a poster featuring the characters Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) with other friends watching fireworks while a monster stalks the group. As it has been known, one of the main scenarios of the plot of the new season will be the Starcourt Mall, recently opened in the fictional town of Hawkins (Indiana) in which the series is developed.

The new chapters will feature some additions to the cast of the series, such as Maya Hawke (Little Women), Jake Busey (Contact) or Cary Elwes (The Promised Princess). Their names will be added to others already habitual of this fiction, one of the most popular of Netflix, such as Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Dacre Montgomery, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, Winona Ryder or David Harbor.
