Santander modifies the conditions of account 123 again: these are the new ones - La Provincia

Santander bankYou have just announced to the customers of your 123 Zero account the modification of their contractual conditions.This is the type of account without commissions (but also without remuneration) that had been promoted by the banking entity after the conditions of account 123 and above all its remuneration were significantly modified.

From now on the bank increases the maintenance fees of the account if it does not meet the conditions or requirements reflected in its contract, 12 euros per month (previously 8 euros per month). But it is not the only thing. In addition, as specified by the bank itself in an email sent to customers,"It eliminates one of the possibilities of fulfilling the conditions or requirements of the account included in your contract, specifically, the requirement to maintain an average monthly balance in products deposited in the Bank equal to or greater than 60,000 euros."

The new conditionswill be applied as of January 3, 2020.When the new conditions come into force without the client having expressed their opposition to the proposed modifications, it will be understood that he accepts them. In case of opposition, you can freely terminate your account contract immediately and without any cancellation costs.
