The acting President of the Government and Secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sanchez, will meet next Tuesday 9, at noon, with the leader of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, in order to seek an agreement for the investiture and for which Socialists believe that "there are solid bases."
According to sources told the PSOE, "Spain needs a progressive government in full function in July, there are solid bases to reach an agreement as we have shown in the last 12 months."
This meeting will be the first in the new round of contacts for the investiture after the two officers maintained with the leader of Podemos, one on May 7 and another on June 11.
On Friday, Iglesias will gather his parliamentary group in Congress to address the coalition's negotiation strategy in the face of Sanchez's inauguration.
