The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has accused this Friday of acting as a “mafia” by not disclosing the names of the members of the expert committee that decides the de-escalation and has branded it as a “secret committee” and “hooded” who makes decisions about “the health and life of the Spanish”.
In his Twitter account, he has referred to the controversy caused by the anonymity of the experts that advises the Executive in the fight against COVID-19 and in the design and implementation of the de-escalation plan.
“A secret committee, a hooded committee, is going to decide on the health and life of the Spanish. We are much worse than we imagined when the Government acts as a pure mafia. All its management of the crisis is criminal,” he has written. the leader of Vox.
The Government has argued that it will not disclose the “names and surnames” of the experts of the committee on the COVID-19 crisis, alluding to the fact that they would be “subject to pressure”.
