Samsung is aware that, although it disputes the top of the premium mobile with Apple (and lately also with Huawei), is losing ground in the mid-range, where the bulk of sales is concentrated, due to the fierce competition of the new Chinese actors such as Xiaomi, Oppo and Honor. Therefore, the Korean brand has decided to bet hard to win the audience millennials, with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A9, a mobile equipped with five cameras, four rear and one front for selfies.
First, it was the pixel battle. Later Apple dared to bet on the dual camera. And now it seems that all manufacturers want to fill their phones with lenses, so that taking pictures is like winking, thanks to multiple cameras and artificial intelligence. For a user who spends the day uploading photos to Instagram or Facebook, the camera is his priority when buying a mobile.
The Galaxy A7 already fits three rear cameras and one front. His successor, the Galaxy A9, makes the leap to the five cameras. Four rear: a main 24 megapixels (MP) and aperture f / 1.7; a wide angle of 8MP, f / 2.4 and angle of 120º; a 10 MP telephoto lens, f / 2.4 and 2x optical zoom; and a 5 MP depth camera, f / 2.2 and live blur. The front camera has an 8 MP sensor and aperture f / 2.0.
The four cameras for all types of photos
All cameras have their function. The main camera captures sharp and clear images, with high or low illumination. The 2x optical zoom allows you to take close-up shots from a distance. The wide-angle lens shoots with the scene optimizer, which thanks to the recognition of scenes by AI, can identify the subject and make the appropriate adjustments, in just a moment, to obtain the best photo. The fourth depth lens, which provides the freedom to handle depth of field manually and focus on the subject.
The new smartphone from Samsung, presented today in Milan, features a 6.3-inch Amoled display and full HD + vision with infinite vision (reduced frames with 18.5: 9 ratio) with aluminum and glass chassis.
The hardware works thanks to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, eight-core and 2.2Ghz speed, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded by microSD up to 512GB, and with tray for two SIM cards . The battery is of 3.720 mAh responsible for keeping the lights on.
Coinciding with the announcement of the Galaxy A9, Samsung has begun to market in Spain its new Galaxy A7, in Spain, the first terminal of Samsung with triple camera prepared to reflect and share experiences, with a price of 349 euros, in blue, black and Golden.
