Gran Canaria has seduced the French luxury firm Yves Saint Laurent, which has turned the dunes of Maspalomas into a catwalk to present the women’s creations of the spring-summer 2021 season.

An unusual setting far from the glamor of one of the great fashion capitals of the world, but in a unique natural environment that leaves no one indifferent and in which the models walk on the great sand hills even with high heels.

This new collection from the creative director of the house, Anthony Vaccarello, is dedicated to freedom and movement and is entitled I Wish You Were Here (I wish you were here).

Brushstrokes of red, black and earth tones surround the garments, which are light without losing the essence and elegance of the French house.

The campaign was released on Tuesday this week on YouTube and social networks and in the images the logo of the firm designed in large size on one of the dunes, as well as fire trails recreated in the night shots, draws attention. The recording took place last November.
