The airline Ryanair has launched a new offer, with one million seats for 9.99 euros to travel throughout its European network between November 2018 and March 2019, after the recent strikes carried out by cabin crew (TCP) and pilots in countries such as Italy, Portugal, Spain, Holland, Belgium and Germany.
It is a 24-hour offer that is already available on the website of the Irish low-cost carrier until midnight on Tuesday, October 23, Ryanair said in a statement.
This new promotion is added to the one launched on October 1 by which the 'low cost' put on sale a million seats on flights from Spain with a discount of up to 25%.
The offer coincides with the publication of the company's results of its first fiscal semester (April-September), which closed with a net profit of 1,200 million euros, 7% less than in the previous period.
According to Ryanair, these partial results are in line with their forecasts of last month, when predicted a fall in profits due to factors such as the cost of fuel or the payment of compensation for delays and cancellations of flights (accommodation or new tickets), resulting from strikes.
The launch of the new offer also coincides with a new day of strike that will take place on Tuesday its TCP in Eindhoven (Netherlands) in protest at the announcement of the closure of the base of the airline at this airport.
In addition, the European unions of TCP of Ryanair advanced on October 18 that contemplate the possibility of calling a three-day strike that coincides with the Christmas dates, to continue demanding respect for their labor rights and that workers are applied the legislation of your country of origin.
