Rocasa Gran Canaria, in a very physical match, knew how to play their cards better in the second half to end up winning, at the Antonio Moreno de Las Remudas Pavilion, 16-13 over Elche, from which they managed to snatch the second position of the Group B of the Liga Guerreras Iberdrola for women's handball.

The staging of the whole Gran Canaria was great. He was firm in defense and took advantage of his fast transitions to endorse a 3-0 run in just two minutes of play.

Elche managed to recover from its bad start and returned the part with interest to the Gran Canaria, who after eight minutes were seen behind on the scoreboard in a meteoric comeback of the Ilicitanas (3-4). From there, the defenses and the lack of aim became protagonists, with the unalterable score.

It was the visiting team that took command again. With 3-6, the local reaction brought the equalizer after 20 minutes of the game. This did not give up until the break, which was tied at nine.

The tables were reversed at the start of the second half, with Elche surprising with two quick goals from Clausson and Gasco that threatened to leave on the scoreboard. But Rocasa was pulling claws to stay in the game and Arinegua, in a flight without an engine, placed a perfect diagonal to return the advantage on the scoreboard after the halfway point of this period, goalkeeper Silvia Navarro keeping the barrier lowered in her goal with several anthological stops (13-12).

The visiting team did not give up and Musons returned to place the tables on the scoreboard. The joy did not last long. María Gomes placed a surface-to-air missile to keep the Guerreras de Telde ahead in the electronic game, entering the game in its final stretch with two goals ahead for those of Carlos Herrera when Haridian Rodríguez transformed a launch from seven meters to six minutes from the end (15-13).

Rocasa regained control at the best possible moment and began to move the ball uneasily playing with the anxiety of his rival, who suffered a new blow when Agni Zygoura scored a launch after penetrating through the center of the rival defense, placing the 16- 13 in the bright.
