Robleda-Cervantes, in Zamora, marks the minimum of Spain with -5.7 degrees

The cold wave of recent days is noticeable strongly in Castilla y León where the small town of the Zamora region of Sanabria, Robleda-Cervantes, of just over 440 neighbors, has marked at eight this morning -5.7 degrees, the lowest in Spain.

According to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the next coldest town has been Beariz, in Ourense, with -4.9 degrees at seven to ten in the morning, followed by Cubillo del Ebro, in Cantabria , with -4.7 at ten to eight.

Four other towns in Castilla y León are among the ten coldest on Wednesday, with -4.3 in Riaño, in León; four below zero in Cervera de Pisuerga, in Palencia; and -3.7 degrees in Villablino, in León, and Villardeciervos, in Zamora.
