Reyes Maroto: "Barcelona is the MWC and the MWC is undoubtedly Barcelona"

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, said Wednesday that "Barcelona is the Mobile World Congress (MWC) and the MWC is undoubtedly Barcelona", and has called to put "long lights" instead of act with "lack of proposals and cortoplacisms".
Maroto has accompanied this morning the first deputy mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, who has delivered a conference entitled "A new economic agenda for Barcelona" at the Circle of Economy.
In his first speech, which opened the conference, Reyes Maroto has praised Collboni for "proposing long lights to imagine a city capable of addressing global challenges", an attitude that has contrasted with that of other actors, whom he has not cited , which act with "lack of proposals and cortoplacisms".
The "project" of Collboni, stressed the minister, is "based on the strengths of the city", as is the MWC organization itself.
Reyes Maroto has also said that the first deputy mayor is "a person committed to the city that has the tools to adapt to the paradigm of the 21st century."
"There are people who dream of great things while others, awake, carry them out," said the minister to end the praise of the socialist leader.
