Two people have taken off the balcony of the City Council of Cervera (Lleida) a banner in support of imprisoned politicians, who already it has been replaced by the mayor himself, hours before the celebration of the victory of the pilot Marc Márquez in the MotoGP World Championship in the town hall.
Through its Twitter account, the group "Groc Enlloc" ("Yellow in nowhere") has claimed the action and has posted a video that shows two people picking up the banner with the help of a stick this evening, which has the slogan "Llibertat political prisoners" and was hanging from the balcony of the consistorial building.
In statements to Catalunya Ràdio, the mayor of Cervera, Ramon Royes (PDeCAT), explained that the local police have identified the authors of the action, which they are not neighbors of the municipality, and has indicated that he himself has replaced the banner this morning.
In his Twitter account, "Groc Enlloc" defends his action and announces that, thanks to the withdrawal of the banner, "Marc Márquez could, now, celebrate his world championship."
Precisely, Márquez will celebrate this afternoon in his native town his fifth world MotoGP victory, although for the second consecutive year will not go to the balcony of the City.
