Responsible for the Intramurs festival in Valencia present this project at CAAM – La Provincia

The Atlantic Center of Modern Art (CAAM) of Cabildo of Gran Canaria start the cycle Attic Tertulias 2020 with Salvia Ferrer and Óscar Mora, director and director of production and programmer of the Intramurs Festival of contemporary art and experimentation that is held every year in the old town of the city of Valencia.

The appointment will take place on Tuesday, February 18, at 7:00 p.m., in the attic of the CAAM, where the public who wishes may know the keys to the success of this cultural initiative, by the hand of those responsible.

In this first gathering of 2020, Salvia Ferrer and Óscar Mora will announce this festival among the public of Gran Canaria interested in art and culture, and will also explore those artistic projects that may be able to join the Intramurs programming.

Since 2014, Intramurs deploys in the Valencian capital, specifically in the space delimited by its old wall, an extensive program of cultural activities, open to the participation of citizens, among which exhibitions, guided tours, performances, musical performances, dance or poetry recitals, among other.

It is a public art festival that has established itself as a reference of contemporary art in Spain for its avant-garde proposals and for being the space to experiment with risky art projects and participatory. It is a fundamental event for artists from all over the world with new projects to propose, where disciplines merge and complement each other seeking hybridization in the arts.

In Intramurs, artistic manifestations are designed to intervene in public spaces and prioritize the interaction with people who attend as public, which in these meetings is the one that has just completed the creative proposals.

Attic Tertulias they are meetings organized by the CAAM that seek to make visible the generation of citizenship ideas. Through brief and interactive interventions, this activity aims to facilitate the relationship between the center and the various audiences that require a space to disseminate their ideas and projects. The activity is celebrated with free admission for all audiences.
