Renfe says it already has trains for its low cost AVE

Renfe already has the trains with which it will lend its announced low cost AVE service which is already working with the aim of launching it "several months before" that in December of 2020 passenger transport by train opens up to the competition.
This was stated by the president of the public operator, Isaías Taboas, who explained that the company has identified the trains of its current fleet with which it will operate this low-cost high-speed service.

During his speech in the 'Executive Forum', the president of Renfe ruled out that the company is going to launch a "low cost" AVE that loses money. «That he has a margin, even if it is small, and that he makes money, although it is not much, from the first day, "he said.
Renfe considers that the main market niche of its "low cost" AVE is in travelers who still choose the car and the bus instead of the train.
Therefore, regarding the price of tickets for the new service, indicated that it must be competitive with what now costs the alternative of traveling by car or bus, according to your data between about 30 and about 50 euros, in the case of the journey between Madrid and Barcelona.
