Red.es appoints Alberto Martínez Lacambra as new director, who will manage the investments of European funds

The Red.es board of directors has appointed Alberto Martínez Lacambra as the new general director of the entity on Monday, replacing David Cierco Jiménez de Parga, who resigned from office a few weeks ago. Martínez Lacambra was general director of Agbar in Catalonia and CEO of Aguas de Barcelona and has extensive experience in financial and equipment management, according to the entity’s statement.

Graduated in Economics and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and in Law from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), Lacambra has also been a professor at the first of the two educational centers where he studied. He has also been CEO of Aquagest Services Company, and in the public sphere, he has participated in the management of the Metropolitan Institute for Land Promotion and Asset Management (Impsol), a body dedicated to housing.

He has extensive professional experience in financial and team management, within the public and private sector, as well as in the national and international entrepreneurial world, in areas of services and activities, always being closely linked to the digital transformation of the companies he has led.

The board of directors values ​​that the new CEO is joining “at a time of great prominence for the entity” due to the increase in its budget and the number of programs that it will have to execute with the deployment of investments linked to the funds. Europeans.
