Real Madrid and the Italian AC Milan made official this Monday the transfer by the Madrid team of the Spanish midfielder Brahim Diaz for the next two seasons, through June 30, 2023.
“Real Madrid CF and AC Milan have agreed to loan the player Brahim Díaz to the next two seasons, until June 30, 2023“, said the Madrid club in a statement on its website, making official news that the player himself had already advanced last Saturday.
Brahim, 21, confirmed that day after landing in Milan that he was “super happy” to wear the ‘Rossonera’ shirt that he already wore last season, in which he shone with seven goals and four 39 games disputed between Serie A, Europa League and Italian Cup.
The Andalusian footballer was signed by Real Madrid in the winter market of the 2018-2019 season from Manchester City, but he has hardly had opportunities for which he was loaned to the seven-time European champion last season.
Brahim could soon meet again with the Madrid team as they will face AC Milan in a pre-season friendly match on August 8 at the Wörthersee stadium in the Austrian city of Klagenfurt (6.30 pm), a duel that will be played under the motto #AthletesVersus Cup to “fight against discrimination and racism”.
