Ramón Medina González is the new president of the Las Palmas Coaches Technical Committee after the decision adopted by the head of the Inter-Insular Football Federation, Antonio Suárez Santana. Medina González replaces in the position Luis Chirino Marrero, person who submitted his resignation, for health reasons, at the last meeting of the board of directors of the FIFLP.

After his reelection as president of the FIFLP, Antonio Suárez incorporates Medina to its new board of directors as the person in charge of the area of ​​training and technification, position from which it will try to promote the "Forming Together" project, an initiative that aims to "lead and help in training all the agents involved in football and indoor soccer".

The board of directors of the new stage of the Coaches Committee is formed by the following persons: Ramón Medina González, president; Juan Jesús Robaina Mederos, vice president; Tanausu García Castellano, secretary; Ana Esther Rodríguez Pérez, treasurer; José León Hernández Vázquez, vocal in Lanzarote; Azahara Darias Martínez, vocal in Fuerteventura; Manuel Alexis Santana Suárez, vocal physical trainers; José Jiménez Antunes, vocal goalkeeping coaches; Cristina Jiménez Bayo, vocal futsal coach; Armando Castro Sánchez, José Juan Almeida Hernández, Pedro Luis Cárdenes Almeida, vocalists from Gran Canaria; Juan Alfonso Martín García, legal adviser and Ancor Arencibia Santana, administrative.

All members of Ramón Medina's team are top sports technicians in football and indoor soccer or hold the title of coach in different categories.

Medina González (Firgas, 1955) has been linked to the world of football for a long time, especially in relation to the coaching staff in the double face of coach (he was the technical head of the Las Palmas National Team that was proclaimed Spain's youth champion in the 1992) and teacher in his capacity as deputy director and head of studies of the Canary School of Coaches since 2000, although it was already secretary of the organization since 1985

Ramón Medina is also university graduate and labor consultant of the Professional Union of Physicians of Las Palmas for 35 years. He is also a formator for trainers at the University of Santiago. In the field of sports, he is a top coach in football and indoor football.

His football career began as a player, playing in the ranks of the Canary Islands and the team of his neighborhood, in which he was also a director during a stage.

In addition to the youth championship of 1992 in Spain as the head of the selection of Las Palmas, Medina Gonzalez has a long career as a coach. In his stage as sports director of UD Gáldar, his youth team played the Copa del Rey, while the senior participated in the promotion phase to Segunda B.

Ramón Medina has also been the coach of teams such as Las Torres, Vecindario, Carrizal, Union Chile and Casablanca, with which he won promotions.
