Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro releases “remix” of “Algo Mágico”

San Juan, Mar 12 (EFE) .- The Puerto Rican urban artist Rauw Alejandro launched this Friday together with the Dutch-Moroccan producer and DJ R3HAB the “remix” of the song “Algo Mágico”, a version of the song that is part of his album Double Platinum, “Aphrodisiac”.

Originally released in June 2020, the single “Algo Mágico” tells the story of a relationship that begins without commitments and then turns into a strong romance of honest feelings, according to the representatives of the Puerto Rican artist in a press release.

Since then, the single has amassed more than 70 million views on YouTube, 57 million views on digital platforms, and 150,000 videos posted on TikTok.

Directed by Sebastián Mejía and filmed in Carolina, Puerto Rico, by Buena Vibra Group, the new animated video continues the concept proposed by the original video, portraying a dream trip and romanticism.

Thus, Rauw Alejandro “fills this ‘remix’ with freshness”, highlighted the artist’s spokesmen, collaborating with DJ R3HAB, an innovator of dance music during the last decade.

Some of the most recognized songs by DJ R3HAB are “Give Me Everything” by Afrojack, Pitbull and Ne-Yo, “All Around The World (La La La)” and “Lullaby”, which have accumulated more than 600 million reproductions total.

Rauw Alejandro’s previous single is “Perreo Pesau”, a track that follows in the footsteps of “Baila Conmigo”, his collaboration with Selena Gomez, whose official video has accumulated 61 million views.

The Puerto Rican artist also recently published the music video for “Dile a El”, another hit that follows from “Aphrodisíaco.”

Launched in November 2020, Aphrodisíaco has been awarded a double Platinum record in the United States and Latin America, surpassing 2,700 million audio and video reproductions to date.

“Aphrodisíaco” also peaked at number one on Apple Music’s Latin Albums chart, and second on Spotify’s world premieres chart.

For this reason, the album achieved a nomination for Best New Artist in the past Latin Grammys.

Guest artists such as Anuel AA, J Balvin, Trippie Redd, Wisin y Yandel, Zion, Lennox, Arcángel, Myke Towers, Dalex, Lenny Tavárez, Farruko, Sech, Dímelo Flow and Camilo participate in “Aphrodisíaco”.
