The Junta de Castilla y León has hosted this Friday a meeting in which the five axes of the purported ‘reconstruction’ agreement of the Community have been set, in which representatives of the autonomous government and of all parties participate: PSOE, PP, Cs, Podemos, Vox, UPL and Por Ávila.
The first formal meeting of this group has established as pillars of an agreement that they hope to sign in less than a month the search for “quality and equity” health, the social protection of the most vulnerable, aid for economic activity and the employment, defense of public services and regional and European financing.
Through a statement, the Board has assessed the “friendly and constructive atmosphere” that has been observed at the event, in which they have promised to present contributions “in the coming days” to advance this Community agreement.
The President of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, and the Vice President, Francisco Igea, representing the Government, have participated in this meeting, while the representatives of the parties have been Luis Tudanca (PSOE), Raúl de la Hoz (PP), Ana Carlota Amigo (Cs), Pablo Fernández (Podemos), Luis Mariano Santos (UPL), Pedro José Pascual (Por Ávila) and Jesús García Conde (Vox).
Mañueco has expressed that “this pact must have as its sole objective to make things easier for workers, companies and families in Castilla y León, for which the need to reach an agreement is above any party interest”, according to the Board’s statement.
The President has assured that the Government of Castilla y León “bets on dialogue and on agreements that guarantee political, economic and social stability to promote the future of Castilla y León”, for which reason he has asked for the participation of all political forces, as well as representatives of social dialogue and interlocutors from different sectors of society.
