The negotiation between PSOE and Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) for the investiture of Pedro Sánchez get moving. After the new appointment they had in Congress this afternoon, both formations have issued identical statements in which they agree that "we have advanced in the reflection to activate the political path looking for the necessary instruments for channeling."
The negotiating delegations of the PSOE and the PSC and the ERC have held their second meeting this afternoon, after the initial one of last Thursday, “in the framework of the conversations they are having to give an exit to the institutional blockade”.
"We have made progress on specific issues in which it has been found that we maintain a shared social sensitivity," the statement said.
"In this second meeting – it is affirmed in the communiqué of socialists and republicans – they have reaffirmed that there is a political conflict and that we must resolve it politically."
Also in this second meeting, both parties affirm, “we have made progress on specific issues in which it has been possible to confirm that we maintain a shared social sensitivity regarding the recovery of civil, labor and social rights”.
The two negotiating delegations have agreed to meet again next Tuesday, December 10.
