The third and last climb will be faced, the one that leads uphill to the finish line of Sestriere (1st, 6.9 kms at 7.2).

Last chance for the candidates for the pink jersey, which will be defended by the Dutch Wilco Kelderman (Sunweb) with 12 seconds ahead of fellow Australian Jai Hinsley and 15 with respect to the British Tao Geoghegan Hart (Ineos).
