The owner of the Violence against Women court number 1 of Benidorm has decreed this afternoon the entry into provisional arrest, communicated and without bail of the assumption murderer of his sentimental partner, Rocío, in the Alfàs del Pi (Alicante).
According to the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV), the 52-year-old detainee has been investigated in a open case for a crime of homicidewithout prejudice to subsequent qualification.
In addition, the arrested person is also being investigated for alleged mistreatment of the deceased committed prior to the sexist crime, within the framework of another procedure that was initiated by the same judicial body last Monday following a report from the Civil Guard.
Rocío, 44 years old and mother of two childrendied in the early hours of Monday due to the stab wounds inflicted on him by the alleged murderer with whom he lived in l'Alfàs del Pi.

After the crime, the man fled and at dawn on Wednesday he was arrested in a brothel in Cox, about 100 kilometers south of l'Alfàs; The alleged murderer has a history of mistreating a previous partner, from whom he was separated and with whom he has two children.
