The last time the princess was seen was on August 30 when she traveled to Wales to start your studies at the private UWC Atlantic College, in the images that the Royal Household distributed of the farewell that the kings and infanta gave him at the Barajas airport.

Leonor de Borbón did not attend the parade of the October 12 ° since, although she is vaccinated against covid-19, I would have had to keep five days of quarantine upon return to Wales, as stipulated by the center’s regulations.

He has moved to Oviedo because the boarding school interrupts its classes due to the autumn break from October 22 to 31, the day on which turns 16.

Upon arrival at the auditorium, the Real Banda de Gaitas Ciudad de Oviedo gave the welcome to the royal family, which have been joined by several dozen people who have applauded the kings and their daughters, who thanked the gesture by waving.

Since his first visit to Oviedo three years ago, it is the first time that Leonor de Borbón and her sister go with their parents to the recital, which last year could not be held for the pandemic.

The heiress to the throne, who has worn a fuchsia dress, has captured the glances at the pose with her parents and the infanta inside the building.

As she climbed the stairs to the box, the Infanta grabbed her older sister by the arm and they have returned to greet the public through the stained glass window.

The royal family has been received by the Asturian president, Adrián Barbón, the mayor of Oviedo, Alfredo Canteli, and the president of the General Meeting of the Principality, Marcelino Marcos.

Also the president of the FPA, Luis Fernández-Vega, and the director, Teresa Sanjurjo, among other authorities.

The attending public has given a long ovation when the kings and their daughters have accessed the Stage of honor and it has been repeated after the interpretation of the national anthem.

Due to sanitary restrictions, the number of guests in the auditorium has been reduced to 60 percent of the capacity.

The FPA concert pays tribute in this edition to the maestro Joaquín Rodrigo, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the awarding of the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts and the 120th anniversary of his birth.

The Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra has performed ‘Fantasy for a gentle man’ and ‘Concert of Aranjuez’, under the direction of Josep Vicen and with the participation of the guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas.
