Madrid Jan 15 (EFE) .- The Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums will reopen their doors on Monday, more than a week after they had to be closed due to the snow and cold storm.
Finally the Prado will open, despite the fact that during the day this Friday it was reported that it could not do so due to an incident related to the storm, but it has already been solved.
The three museums closed on Saturday, and also all the museums in Madrid, which are still closed along with a part of the stages and all the National Heritage buildings in the region.
On Monday, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts will also reopen, which suffered a problem with its roof and was forced to move paintings from several rooms in its museums.
The Ministry of Culture will also evaluate on Monday the possible reopening of the national museums located in Madrid, such as the Sorolla Museum or the National Archaeological Museum, which remain closed without a fixed date of reopening.
