'Post Mortem. Collectio Carlos Areces'

A few years ago, the versatile artist Carlos Areces started a collection that could be described as peculiar, although some would prefer to call it macabre. The movie The others Alejandro Amenábar's interest aroused his interest in the photography of the deceased and little by little he collected portraits until he reached around 150 images. Titilante publishing house will publish this set in a large-format, bilingual Spanish / English volume entitled Post Mortem. Collectio Carlos Areces. The print run will be limited, it will have a cover lined in black velvet and an embroidered band with the legend "In Memoriam" as well as 12 frames to frame, among other watermarks. A work that is aimed at people so interested in the subject as to want to hang portraits of unknown dead on the walls of the house.
