The writer, playwright and screenwriter Alfonso Tailor, awarded with the National Theater Award in 1985, He died this Friday at the age of 95 in Hondarribia, the Gipuzkoan town where he lived.

Tailor, born on February 20, 1926 in Madrid, was considered one of the main exponents of the so-called ‘Generation of 50’ and during his long intellectual career he was characterized by his political commitment, first against the Franco dictatorship and then in favor of the nationalist left.
