Pete Doherty returns with The Puta Madres

The controversial and charismatic Pete Doherty (The Babyshambles, The Libertines) is back. The Briton has announced his comeback with a new band to shape the project Pete Doherty & The Puta Mothers, with which he will publish "Who's Having You Over" at the end of April. The group has already published the self-titled advance single.

The band defines the project as "an intimate and devastating portrait of love, the loss, feeling lost, happiness, tragedy, addictions and the power of the human soul to overcome its darkest phases "and will be published by Strap Originals / Cargo Records.

TAll the songs have already been presented live in the last 18 months of Doherty's solo tour for festivals in Europe and were recorded in Normandy by the group, consisting of Doherty himself, Miggles (bass), Miki Beavis (violin), Katia DeVidas (keyboards), Jack Jones (guitar) and Rafa (drums).

Between the subjects, they are "All at sea", the crude cut "Punk Buck Bonafide", "Shoreleave", "Paradise is Under Nose", "Someone Else To Be", "Ride Into The Sun" among others.
