The Serie ‘Perfect life’, created by Leticia Dolera and Manuel Burque, ‘Homeland’ by Aitor Gabilondo and ‘Unit’ by Dani de la Torre have been the three productions most awarded in the eighth edition of the MiM Awards held this Thursday in digital format by the coronavirus.
‘Perfect Life’, Movistar + original series, has managed to win three awards: the MiM Award for best screenplay, the award for best comedy actor for Enric Auquer and the one for best comedy actress for Aixa Villagrán.
The adaptation of the novel by Fernando Aramburu, created and written by Aitor Gabilondo, started as a favorite with five nominations, although in the end it has only won two awards, the Dama Award for the best miniseries and the one for best drama actress, which they have shared its two protagonists, Ane Gabarain Y Elena Irureta.
‘La Unidad’ (Movistar +) has also won two awards, the one for best director for Of the tower and the Dama Award for the best drama series.
For its part, the MiM award for best drama actor has gone to Javier Rey, one of the protagonists of the first season of ‘Hache’ (Netflix), while ‘People talking’ (Atresmedia) has won the Dama award for the best comedy series and the RTVE police series ‘Serve and protect’ has won the Dama award for Best Daily Series.
As on previous occasions, this year the Coca-Cola Young Talent Award was awarded, with which MiM Series wanted to distinguish the “brilliant career” of Ester Exposito “Considering her, despite her youth, and precisely for that reason, a benchmark of our most current serial fiction, which lives with phenomena like her, a moment of unprecedented international acclaim and recognition and which goes beyond traditional formats by opening a new way to the future of our series ”, MiM points out as the reasoning behind his award.
This has been the eighth edition of the MiM Awards and it has recognized the best fictions of the main networks and platforms released between October 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020. On this occasion It could not be done at a gala dinner for the coronavirus as in previous years.
The delivery has therefore been a virtual program in which the revelation of the awards has been interspersed together with videos of the winners, who were contacted hours before the broadcast by the organization in an exceptional way so that they were present at the Program.
The MiM awards, affectionately called the “Iberian Emmy”, are one of the most important recognitions of Spanish television creation and have been organized since its inception by the Madridimagen cultural association and promoted by Dama, a Spanish entity specialized in copyright management. of audiovisual works.
