Pediatricians defend telephone consultations to clear primary care

Calls from primary care physicians are becoming common. It also happens with pediatric consultations and more now in times of pandemic to avoid possible infections. Regular check-ups, the most basic, such as listening to children or palpating their abdomen, can be done electronically, but the same is true for specialties. Eye pathologies are not so visible and that is why face-to-face consultation is necessary. Even for that, from primary care they defend the telephone route as the best solution.
