The PDeCAT will go to the municipal elections with the brand Junts per Catalunya -adapted to the name of each municipality-, although it does not rule out that the acronyms of the National Commission for the Republic can be added to it.
The president of the PDeCAT, David Bonvehí, reiterated today in a press conference that his party will use the "Junts per" umbrella in the municipal ones, although a formula is being outlined that allows other actors to join the candidacies.
Bonvehí has spoken, in particular, of the Catalan capital, a "very special case" in which, although the "umbrella" may be Junts per Barcelona, "that does not mean that the Crida can not participate as well".
Although the final formalization of the candidacies is still to be defined, formulas could be used in which the brand "Junts" will be joined by other acronyms, such as those of La Crida.
In the specific case of Barcelona, Bonvehí recalled that ex-consellera Neus Munté is the mayor of the PDeCAT, but she herself has been willing to "be generous to make a much more transversal and global project" that supposes, for example, that is she who heads the electoral list.
Even so, Bonvehí has assured that the PDeCAT and the Crida will have "a joint strategic line" and that both political actors are working "with enthusiasm and optimism": "That no one has illusions that the PDeCAT and the Crida will not have the same objectives or they will not be similar ", has asserted.
