Online shopping has starred in the Christmas season of some Spaniards who have gone online as a safe way to buy to protect themselves from Covid-19. This has also been confirmed by the Business Organization of Logistics and Transport of Spain (UNO) which has announced a 30% increase in activity compared to the previous Christmas campaign. Specifically, logistics and parcel companies have managed to distribute 110 million packages from BlackFriday to Three Kings Day.

In parts, from the employer they assure, that from Black Friday to December 13, 50 million packages were distributed, 45% of the total of the Christmas campaign. According to the president of UNO Logística, Francisco Aranda, the activity linked to Black Friday is progressively increasing its prominence within the Christmas campaign.

In total for the campaign, an average of four million daily shipments were distributed. Being on Tuesday December 1 and Wednesday 3, the maximum peaks of activity. Dates that coincide with the week following the Black friday.

The president of UNO Logística praises the boom in online shopping, which has taken the sector to all-time highs shipping, "despite the complications we are working with."
