31 million euros were summoned and the credit had to be extended to 62 million to cover the citizen demand for aid for self-consumption with renewable energies in Castilla-La Mancha.
The approval of the law that wants to speed up renewable energy projects in the region is delayed
To date, after five months from the initial call, there are more than 9,000 applications, "and rising", as confirmed by sources from the Ministry of Sustainable Development, to join the aid of a call financed by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the IDAE (Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving).
They are aimed at individuals, companies, public administrations, communities of owners, energy communities and, in the third sector, self-consumption and storage facilities in the region. The regional government will double the aid because, according to the Minister for Sustainable Development José Luis Escudero "we are clear that self-consumption is one of the pillars of our recently presented Strategic Plan for the Energy Development of Castilla-La Mancha Horizon 2030, where we mark ourselves as The objective is to multiply the installed electrical power from this type of installation by fifteen, reaching up to 1,763 MW that are accumulated to the current 113 MW. And this extension of credit is going to help us without a doubt to fulfill it”.
With these new incentives for self-consumption, mobility will already be 101 million euros to encourage different energy transition actions, between mobility plans, self-consumption and efficiency.
The latest data offered by Sustainable Development on the state of the regional energy mix indicates that the region is "very close" to 9,000 MW (8,845 MW) from clean energy, 79 percent of the total and 22 points above the national average.
One of the news of the day is that this Thursday It has been decided to delay - with the majority vote held by the PSOE in the regional Parliament - the Law Proposal Measures for the Administrative Streamlining of Renewable Energy Projects in Castilla-La Mancha, presented by the Socialist Parliamentary Group and already advanced elDiarioclm.es. It was scheduled to be processed in the regional courts this Thursday by the single reading procedure. Now, the text will foreseeably be processed urgently, as Ciudadanos has criticized, and will be seen in the next plenary session, as indicated by the Minister of Sustainable Development, José Luis Escudero.
Ciudadanos and the Popular Party have been in favor of continuing the procedure to debate the text - the former have advanced their explicit support for taking it into consideration and the latter have referred to the process of amendments - but have demanded that this speeding up of procedures "is not done at any price and in any way" and can be extended to other areas of the regional economy.
