Otegi asks the Government of Sanchez to respect the "majority decision of this country and bring the prisoners" of ETA

Speaking to the media minutes before participating in the march for the rights of ETA prisoners that is roaming the streets of the capital of Gipuzkoa, Otegi has also indicated that it is time to abandon "sterile subterfuges and debates", since Euskadi "deserves to live without political prisoners".

After pointing out that the time has come to "solve" the issue of "prisoners, refugees and deportees", Otegi recalled that seven years ago that ETA abandoned "the armed struggle and a long time ago this solution should have been resolved" , for being a question that "builds coexistence and peace in this country".

"We want to live in a state and a republic without evictions, without unemployed without social cuts and in a country without political prisoners, without deportees and without refugees," he added.

For all this, the leader of the sovereignist coalition has considered that it is necessary to stop "subterfuges and sterile debates" since Euskadi "deserves to live without political prisoners". "What we ask the Government of the Spanish State is to respect the majority decision of this country, bring all the prisoners, release the sick and, among all, we are able to develop a road map that leaves the country without weights politicians, "he insisted.
